Higher Education Training Institute of KCUE held a Workshop for the IT staffs, a 'Workshop for enhancing ability to use MS Office program (power point)', and a ‘Workshop for school administration and management staffs’ from May 2 to May 4  at Cheongpung resort in Chung Cheongbukdo.   

74 IT related staffs from 50 universities participated in the workshop and discussed strategy for the information-oriented university, establishment of university information system and case studies about other advanced countries, usage and countermeasures of window vista, actual cases of IT related experiences in university, and security measures for the protection of data. Presentation and discussion on e-learning and its support were also made on the workshop.

In the workshop for school administration and management staffs, 54 participants from 39 universities not only shared their knowledge about empowerment of university, competitiveness,  communication skills for organizations, case studies for improving administrative management but also discussed and presented ideas on staff recruitment, program planning, and course credit.

In addition, the workshop for school administration and management staffs (advanced), in which 24 members from 11 universities participated, provided the practical training to enhance the ability to use power point, basic presentation skills (rules of color scheme, actual illustrations, making nice charts, and recycling), multimedia and animation (usage of multimedia data, mastering an animation, printing technique).
