KCUE and HRK signed on an inter-institutional framework agreement to develop deeper level of cooperation in the area of Higher Education between Korea and Germany.

 The signing ceremony was held at the office of the president in Seoul National University on October 5th. The agreement contains exchanges of students and faculty, joint-hosting of academic seminars, exchanges of university-relevant information and so on.
 
 Especially, in order to consolidate the close and cooperative relationship between KCUE and HRK, articles related to information exchange on academic degrees and certificates were included as one of the ways to deal with the problem of false degrees which nowadays becomes an object of public concern in Korea.

 Articles regarding information exchange on the results of university evaluation were also contained in the document.
