Secretary-General Young-Shik Kim of KCUE attended a special symposium “The United States & the Koreas: A Critical Relationship” to deliver his keynote speech on ‘Trends of Korean Higher Education’.

 Organized by Asian Studies Center at University of Pittsburgh and held from November 9th to 10th, the event consisted of four different sections as follows: ‘Public Management in Korea & the U.S.’, ’Security Issues in the Korean Peninsula’, ‘Culture & Lifestyle in the Korean Peninsula’, and ‘Higher Education & National Development’.

 Participants in the forum were various groups of people including faculty, undergraduates and graduate students at Pitt and surrounding universities and colleges as well as Korean students studying in the area.
