On January 9,2008, Korean Council for University Education (President Lee Jang Moo, president of SNU) held a breakfast meeting with deans of admissions office from universities nationwide at President Hotel.

 This meeting was called to reflect universities’ opinion regarding Korean SAT grading system which is currently a critical issue and to discuss blueprints to carry out university admissions affairs, which are scheduled to be transferred from MOE to KCUE.
 
 In the meeting, the participants listened to what to take into consideration when dealing with admissions affairs and discussed what each university needed to prepare for the new system.
           
 They also made an in-depth discussion on the method to assure responsibility or effectiveness while undertaking autonomous admissions affairs.
