On February 4,2008 Korean Council for University Education held the 135th board meeting and announced how it would cope with university entrance services in the future. 

 Presidents from universities who participated in the board meeting agreed that universities should focus not only on the autonomy but also on the responsibility and social accountability.   

 Especially, they decided to make changes within the reasonable range for 2009 entrance exams so that they would not cause uneasiness to students and their parents.
