『Higher Education』Vol. 147, a bimonthly magazine issued by KCUE, was published on June 7.

The feature of this edition covered ‘university merger, the results and tasks’. The feature delved into the cases of Pusan National Univ. (merged with Milyang Univ.), Chonnam National Univ. (merged with Yeosu Univ.), Kongju National Univ. (merged with Cheonan industry Univ.), which are models of successful academic integration. The foundation and future tasks of university merger were also discussed in this issue.

The 'Disputes' session dealt with pros and cons about professor recruitment on the contract basis. 

'Our Changing Universities' session introduced Sookmyung Univ., which celebrated 101 anniversary last May, and Soongsil Univ., which is making an effort to be the center of the world.
