The KCUE held a relocation-opening ceremony on March 25 at KGIT Sangam Center.

 In this ceremony, 50 people including former presidents of the KCUE, presidents, heads of related organizations participated. To name a few, Mr. Cho Wan Gyu (4th president of the KCUE, former President of SNU, former Ministry of MOE), Mr. Lee Gi Jun (10th president of the KCUE, President of Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies), Mr. Lee Jang Moo (President of SNU), Mr. Sohn Byung Doo (President of Sogang University) participated.

 The KCUE finished Yeouido era where it worked for 25 years from 1982 to 2008.

 In commemoration of starting Sangam era, the KCUE will enforce support service for autonomy and development of universities.
