KCUE Chairman Yi Chang mu attended the signing ceremony of the Business-Academic Agreement for Training Future International Leaders at the Sŏul (Seoul) Plaza Hotel on April 2nd.

Prime Minister Han Sŭngsu, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Kim Toyŏn, Minister of Labor Yi Yŏnghi, and leaders of five business bodies also attended.

The parties concluded an agreement between businesses and higher education institutions on training youth for international leadership and agreed to actively cooperate to produce future leaders for a globalized era.

The agreement is intended to consolidate a system of active collaboration and to advance the government’s goal of training 100,000 international leaders in five years by apportioning tasks to universities and businesses – the key players in training skilled youth.
