On April 30th, KCUE held an international conference with the title of "International Conference on Development of University Admissions Officer System" at international conference room in KonKuk University Law school. 

In this conference, Dr. Anne De Luca, a deputy director of UC Berkely and Kimberly Johnston, President of National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), introduced admissions officer system in the US.  UC Berkely has been known as a representative case in admissions officer system.

Also, Prof. Kim Hyun Cheol of Sungkyunkwan University presented "Introduction and settlement of admissions officer system in college admission in Korea". Around 180 people from related fields such as universities and press participated in this conference and learned how US universities - large sized or small sized - select students out of many applicants.

Participants also had a chance to consider various issues for settlement of admissions officer system in Korea.
