Participants in ‘University Leadership Program 2007 in Korea’ visited KCUE on Oct 30th, 2007.
The visitation was a part of the program organized by NAEA (National Academy of Education Administration, China) for top leaders of universities in China.
The program aimed at benchmarking Korea’s good practices with regard to strategy, management and innovation system to construct an excellent university. The participants intended to introduce distinguished features of Korean universities to Chinese top officials, and to lay a cornerstone for the expansion of mutual relationship between Korea and China through this visitation.
The Chinese delegation clearly expressed that their goal was to build close cooperation system between Korea and China and to promote international capacity of higher education in both countries.
On this ground, they displayed enthusiastic and cooperative attitude throughout the whole program comprised of KCUE’s presentation on “Trends and Policies of Korean Higher Education”, Q&A session, and discussion. Luncheon time was also a very meaningful occasion in that it laid a foundation for deeper inter-national as well as inter-institutional friendship in the future.
